We have just spent six glorious nights at the Littleton Farm campsite. For us it was a luxury to sit by the fire at night and enjoy the fabulous views. We loved staying here because it felt very private. You are allowed to pitch up where you want. We chose the very top of the hill! The facilities are basic but the site is perfect for anyone wishing to get away from their busy life. Great walking from the farm. Very friendly and helpful owners. I would recommend this site to anyone looking for a peaceful break in the countryside. Switch of your phones, light a fire, go slow and watch the stars 🌟!

We really enjoyed our stay at Littleton Farm Campsite. The owner was very friendly and the site was so peaceful with wonderful views of the Downs. The site is on the South Downs Way, so plenty of quality walking. The no car policy was great - we have stayed so often at sites where people decide to search for an item in their car late at night, the search invariably involving opening and banging 4 doors...It was also great to be able to light campfires in the evening and to sit and listen to the wildlife. The cafe at the campsite entrance was a real bonus as were the bus stops from where buses ran to Chichester and Petworth. Thank you

Littleton Farm campsite is the most brilliant stop if you're on the South Downs Way - or, like me, using it as a base to explore the Upwaltham/Bignor area of West Sussex. It's been so nice to be among fellow-walkers and cyclists spread out in tiny tents rather than among noisy groups and families, caravans and motorhomes. It's quiet, beautifully located but basic so if you want creature comforts and 'facilities', just go elsewhere. Special thanks go to Tania (and Sarah in Cadence Cafe). Top tip: If your legs will take you, pitch at the very top end of the field and have even better views.

Extortionate price @ £34 for 2 people in a field. We had the smallest tent possible. Portaloos are the facilities. The shower ( shared) was a very long 1/2 mile from the tent with no loo to go with it. It is a very basic site at a big price. I say if they don't like people wild camping they need to half their prices. Also be warned the waste water point in the field is not well marked and all points look similar and you could easily end up using the water for waste water /disposal loo by mistake, it's a gray sign and in the row of water points (should say Do not drink and be red). I don't think it should be in the field at all, but down by the farm to avoid confusion.

Lovely campsite. Very rustic no caravans or campervans allowed. Beautiful area, you pick your own pitch. Toilets and running water dotted around the field. BBQ's and open fires allowed. I did find the temperature dropped a lot at night this was in July maybe as it's in a valley? My Summer sleeping bag was in adequate, but it is England! Definitely stay again.

Stayed for 1 night when visiting Goodwood FOS. Lovely peaceful site. Clean facilities. Hope to come back again for a longer stay and to enjoy local area.

Great view is its winning feature, but at £17 pppn with no shower block and just portaloos and a stand tap for washing up its over priced in my opinion. £10 for fire wood again a tad expensive but seems to be the going rate now in Sussex.... would I camp here again ,maybe..

I stopped for a coffee and was surprised. There's plenty of parking, plenty of choices from homemade cakes and snacks, ice cream, coffee, and soft drinks. There is plenty of seating and a toilet. I've passed by many times and always said I'd pop in. I'm glad i finally did. I will be returning.

We love this as on our way to see our daughter. Always a warm welcome, tasty coffee and cakes, and recycling used. Definitely recommend.

Quite possibly the most beautiful site I have stayed in. It was hot, so slept outside under the stars and meteor showers. Facilities are basic which suited us just fine, long walk to the shower so I just went feral, it's camping after all! I'd definitely stay again.
